This Newf Reviews: The Bodhi Carp

Hey everyone! It's Thursday, and so time for...waaaaaaaait for it...

THIS NEWF REVIEWS!

See the drool? I am ready to review this week's product! Fully floogered and ready!

I've mentioned this toy before in a couple of my posts, but never officially reviewed it. And soon, a few of you lucky dog bloggers will also know the joy that is this week's toy...which is why we're reviewing it.

In the biz, that is what we call a "teaser..."

This Newf Reviews: The aptly named Bodhi Lucky Carp!

The Bodhi Lucky Carp is a fish of surprising skills. It emits the loudest, most horrifyingly wonderful squeak ever, it floats, and so far it has not been chewed to death. Survival is a skill! Both Pooka and I adore The Carp, and will contest over it for many long and enjoyable minutes in the back yard. For the record, I always win. (Mama's Note: enjoy it while it lasts buddy...)

Company Standards: There's no real mission statement on their website apart from their goal of making cool dog toys, as inspired by Bodhi the dog. This is totally good enough for us.

Size and Portability: The Carp is 8" wide.

Drool-o-Meter Rating: Pooka and I give this toy a two-slinger, like in the picture up top. It's not a treat, but we seriously, seriously love it. Seriously. With deep and abiding affection. I especially like to suck on the head leaving the tail end sticking out of my mouth. For some reason mama thinks I look ridiculous when I do this, but a newf's gotta do what a newf's gotta do.

*Newfy Drool-o-Meter Key:

Dry Mouth: Zero interest or appreciation for the item in question - not worth drooling over.
Minicicles: Just the tiniest hint of a droolcicle starting at either corner of the mouth. Drool worthy? Barely.
One-Slinger: The treat is good - good enough to get the juices flowing but not so good that I would offer it as an aperitif on a first date with Sunshade.
Two-Slinger: Now we're talking! The drool is even, it's sling-able, and it has been earned.
Simultaneous-Ropes-to-the-Floor: The highest honor I, or any newf, can offer a treat or toy. So delicious and delightful that the drool flows like water.
