Sorry that so many of our posts have been so far apart, and that they are all apologies for not posting more.
We had a blog post all ready to go, about the fact that the Mama was going to have puppies, or the human equivalent, etc...but unfortunately she is no longer going to have puppies and we have all been a bit depressed. Pooka especially. The human puppy was supposed to come on Christmas so he was FINALLY going to get the Christmas present he's been asking for every year.
And he's been a really good dog lately, so it's totally unfair that he's not going to get it after all.
We hope you all forgive us if it is still a little while before we return to blogging frequently. We are all doing okay, just a bit slow and sad, and taking it easy. We climb up on the bed every morning to give the Mama Newf Therapy, and we haven't let her out of our sight in two months. She needs us more than the blog does, right now. But we WILL be back!

oh gosh, Nanook & Pooka....Mom & Me are so sorry to hear about the loss of your lil human-pup. We know he/she hadn't arrived in this world yet, but Mom's sister went thru the same thing about 2 years ago, so we know what doesn't make it hurt any less.
Mom read your human's blog about it, and thinks your human is really brave. As hard as it sounds, and as much as she intellectually understands it, Mom bets her heart is hurting (& your Hu-dad's as well) and is sending big hugs over the blogasphere.

Mommy and I so sorry. We recently had to say good bye to my brother. I know it really wasn't the same thing, but it is still a heart breaking loss.

So sorry newfs! That is so very sad. I can't imagine how difficult this is to go through and Moose & I send your whole pack lots of hugs. I thought from Jack's comment that he had lost his mind but then I read your mom's post and see what he means. I can totally identify with finding the lighter side of a story and your mom tells a great story. I am sure your newf-therapy is the best treatment at this point.
