But things have been a bit crazy here for the past week, so the baby is probably not going to come soon. Pooka has been very sick. And we still don't know what has caused it.

What we CAN tell you is that his fever has been much better the past two days - although his temperature is a *little* up this morning at 102.6, he also just went for his first walk since coming home from the Critical Care Unit on Wednesday, so the exercise might have done it.
We are all keeping a very close eye on him. We even guard him while he's sleeping.
The vet *thinks* he has aspiration pneumonia, but she isn't sure. He's getting lots of antibiotics and they do seem to be helping, but he's very tired all the time, and sleeping lots and lots. Please keep him in your thoughts!

Thank you everyone for the good thoughts! Pook is feeling much better, his white blood cell count is dropping, and his temperature has been normal(ish) for a few days now! The antibiotics are definitely doing the trick!
